Session Review: The Entrepreneurial Experience
An evaluation of the ACE mentorship program found that learners lacked a centralized set of resources to review after their in person sessions. Stakeholders decided to build eLearning review courses based on existing in person lessons, and place them into an accessible LMS. An upcoming session did not have a course and the course needed to be ready in just three days. The source material was a long, static PowerPoint, and the challenge was to quickly identify what learners actually needed to retain and turn it into something engaging, on brand, accessible, and get stakeholder review, all under the tight deadline.
Process
Reviewed the existing PowerPoint to pull out the core information learners needed, cutting anything extra to keep the course focused. Built the review course to follow brand standards and meet accessibility requirements for a wide audience, then launched it directly into the LMS in time for the in person lesson.
